CORNWALL CLUB'S CONCERT.

It is now nearly a year since this Olub gave public exhibition of their skill in instrumental and vocal music, but the memory of the great pleasure the concert afforded is still fresh in the minds of those who were present. It will therefoie be with 1 keen anticipation of delight that the music loving public I will look forward to the forthcoming I concert by this artistic combination on Thursday, 3rd instant. In another column will be found a programme of tha items, and the most cursory glance thereat will suffice to convince anyone that there is a treat in store, It exhibits throughout the praiseworthy aim of the Club to spare no piins or eipense in placing before the public the best of music under the most, favourable circumstances. By this we do not mean that the music is classical and technical, but ratbor that it is popular acd pleasing, yet devoid of what Bishop Neligan characterises as mawkishness and hysteria. Amongst the performers are the youthful violiaist, Master Harris, and many other executants of high standing. Those who wish for an exceptionally pleasant hour or two's amusement should earmark next Thursday evening and be I present at this concert.
