LABOUR MATTERS.
PUB PBESS ASSOCIATION. W ELLIKGTON, August 14. A deputation on behalf of the Wharf and Building Trades Labourers Unions, waited on the Premier yesterday and urged on him that disputed claims under the Workers Compensation for Ao:idenb Act should ba dealt with by magistrates instead of going to the Arbitration Court, the objeoS of the amendment being to save exp inse and delay.
The Premier eaid he would look into the matter.
