At a meeting of shop and office assistants a resolution was passed urging that the Shop and Offices Bill he passed iuto la.w this session, and calling upon the city and suburban members to support it ; also urging the Premier to enfore the clauses providing for the restriction of hours of labour, payment for overtime, and wages to beginners.
