PBS PRESS ASSOCIATION. Received 17, 10 32 p.m. London, July 17. Owing to an accident at Gibraltar through a hawser being run out rapidly, twelve of the crew of the battleship Cain a were injuied, Three received fractured legs, Waipawa, July 17. A remittance man named Herbert Shaw, who has been living at the Empire Hotel for some months, was found dead in bed this morning. He wsb apparently in his usual health last night, j WELLINGTON, July 17. S. Giles, a young married man cf Ohau, was killed to day while haulirg logs to Bartholomew's sawmill. A verdict of accidental death was returned at the inquest.
