The Miaister expressed his sympathy with the object of the deputation, and states that if the Publio Domains Act gives the necessary pjwer he will hive a new Board appointed! and authority given to arrange for the present destruction being discontinued, Be also stated that it was intended to introduce legislation empowering the Government to take over such spot*, and themselves administer them.
