An Auckland correspondent wires from |Kaikohe that Kuao and about 200 followers are assembled at Tautoro moulding ballets and making other preparations to resist the sitting of the Native Land Council. Other Maoris 1 have gathered at Kaikohe in considerable numbers, and are anxiously waiting the arrival of the Hon. Jas. Carroll, who, it is expected, will have some difficulty in settling the dispute.
