POLICE COURT.
Thursday, 26th Mr. W, Bewley, J.P. MISAPPROPRIATION OT FUNDS. Wilfred Vun Sturmer was charged under th 9 Criminal Code Act, 1893, that on December 9th, 1902, at Eltham, he did steal the sum of £lO, the property of the New Plymouth Sash aud Door Company. Mr QuilJiam (Qovett and Quilliam), solicitors for the Company, appeared and informed the Beoch that the chat ge of stealing the .£lO was thy only specific charge at present, and he would ask for an adjournment to give time to formulate other charge#. As a matter of fact, added Mr Quilliaia, the total defalcations amounted to £1270.
Mr Bewlfey reuaandsd the accueod till Thursday next, Bail was fixed, accused in £250, and two sureties of £250 each.
