LOCAL OPTION PETITIONS.
FORT CH-VLMBRS CASE. PES PRESS ASSOCIATION. Dunkdin, March 3. A written decision was received from Mr Justice Williams, in the c.*se in which it was sought to restrain Mr E. G. Graham, S M., from hearing the petition against the locil option poll. This decided that Mr Oarew is the Magistrate for Port Ohalmerp, and that plaiutiff is entitled to a writ of prohibition, wkh £ls costs, and disbursements tc> be paid by defendants, other than Mr Graham. It is understood tbis disposes of the petition, as is was addressed to Mr Graham, and cannot now be proceeded with by Mr Oarew.
