VOTERS AT LAST ELECTION
PER PHESS ASSOCIATION. Wellington, March 3. The Regißtr«r-Gen»ral has published returns in connection with the general elections. These shows that there were 415,783 persons on Ihe roll oul of a total adult population of 429,385 or 90.83 per cent., a slight increase as compared with tbe pre vim election. The number of voters wjs 318,859 or 76.69 cint. of those on the roll. The mei on tin roll numbered 229,845 or 3757 short of the full numb.r of adult miles in the eolony. Of this number 180,294 voted or 78.44 per cent. Tbe parcentago of women on the roll who voted was slightly son tiler than at the previous election, and was 74 62 per cant. Ths total numbar of women who voted whs 138,565.
