IRONSAND LEASES.
Messrs Bewuei and Griffins on Friday submitted to auction on account of the Harbour Board the lease of 45 acres at Moturoa, being part B=cfion 137, Oaaata, and 811, Grey, for 15 years from 25th January last, with right of renewal for 21 years at an upset rental of 41 per annum, There were present Mr Samuel, solicitor to the Harbour Board, and Mr Roy, solicitor for the Hon. A. J. Cadman. The lease was knocked down to Mr Berry, as agent for Mr Cadman, at the upset rental. At the Harbour Board meeting on Friday Mr - Bf'rry surrendered I his lease of the five i:cr<-8 adjoining the above and the ironsind rights on the foreshore, between Tupuae and the Waiwakaiho. A new lease is to be granted to Mr Cadman for 36 years. Thus the leases of the whole 50 acres are brought into Hop.
