CRICKET.
On Friday Rovers played Oarringtonroad, winning by seven wickets.' An enjoyable match was played between New Plymouth and Pollards on Thursday, the former winoing by 136 to 51 (on one innings). Afternoon tea was provided by the Pollnrds, and dispensed by the ladies of the company. The following will represent the N.P.C.C. in a friendly match against a combined Carringfon-road and Inglewood ttam on Easter Monday a- Car-rington-roadßewley (2) Braund, Clarke, L. Hill, Lightband, Medley, Rennell, Robertson, Steeds and Weston.
