ENTHUSIASTIC FAREWELL. PER PUKS3 ASSOCIATION. Auckland, March 19. The Premier was farewellid this evening at a great open-air demonstration. The Mayor presided and referred in eloquent terms to Mrj Seddon's services to the Empire. A testimonial was presented expressing high appreciation of Mr Seddon's great work for the Empire in the despatch of contingents. The Premier, who was loudly applauded, ra?de n vigorous patriotic speech, dealing with tha origin of the war, and said it oould only hev« one ending. S>uth Africa must beodme a part of the Kmpire,

MR 6EDDON IN THE WAIKATO. Auckland, March 20. The Prem'er went to Cambridge today, where he was rnteriained at luncheon and afterwards addressed aP open-air meeting in the Cambridge Domain. Thsre was a great crowd' present. In the eveaing, Mr Seddon came back to Hamilton, where he was entertained at a banqtiet, Hods. Duncan and MoGowan accompanying him. The Premier received to-day a message from the Arawa natives, regretting that they could not farewell him tribally, and offering coiiurAtula'ions. They requested him to offer their congratulations to King Edward.
