THUS RETURN OV THE OHAMPIONS. PER PRESS ASSOCIATION. Wanoanui, March 17. The W-ng.mui Garn<-ou Bind wen) accorded a great pub'ic reception on re'uming from the contest this afternooo. Several thousand assembled at the railway station, and later on in Cook's Gardens, where they were officially congratulated by the member for the district-(Mr A. D. Willis) and borough councillors on again winning | the championship. Reference was imade to the fact of tha bind boing the runners-up in the contests of 1889 (?) and 1900, and now winning in two successive year?.
