The Primitive Methodist vote on t' e question of Union is nbw complete In the whole colony 24 stitions vote! *s follows:—For 1884 bihh 188, against 101 ; for the present basis as offered 63 against 244 ; majority in favour of 1884 basis 57 ; majority against the dresent basis 181. The basis of 1884 was that in the M»thc;diV, Church ony ministers and l&ymoo. should have «n equal vot* on all questions except of ministerial oheracter. The present basis provides that mtt'isvra only sha'l dispose of matters under 14 beads, elect a chairman, e c As the Australasian Mathodist Uhuich will not concede the 1884 bas'S and New Zetland Primates refused the present basis the question is hung up indefinitely.
