Probably no artiste that has ever appeared in the colonies bas aimed such unanimous praise from the Press ai Mdlle. Dolores. The Lyttelton Tirma cays:-"Let everybody and everyone go and listen. They will be enriched by a delightful experience. The stately grace of a Handelian air, the sincerity of a Orusadero's chant, the archness of an old French chanson a darner, the sweet Swedish billed, the brilliant! Italian air, or the frolicsome, irresist-ibly-coatagious merriment of musical laughter will ezeit their spell, and be grandly enjoyed." The Melbourne fferald thus refers to Mdlle:—" A fatciuating personality and matchless art were always present last evening, and it did not matter much what songs were sung, or ia what order they appeared, for every song, at long as it tested, wis liked so well that all the others were forgotten at the time." The Age is not a whit behind its contemporary in its flattering remarks on the impression created on the audience by this charming singer's magnificent voice and skill; while the San Francisco Examiner says that " ber concerts are one of the delights of civilisation. la the pianist, Mr Newell, Mdlle. has a most gifted and accomplished aesistant, who has justly earned very high praise."
