WEDDING.
At St. Mary's Ohurch on Wednesday a quiet wedding cook place, the contracting parties being Mia Constance Bayly, daughter of Mr. Wm. Bayly, and Mr. Arthur Hampton, The ceremony, which wAs performed by Archdeacon Govett, as-iuted by the Rev, F. G. Evans, took place a 1; 1 o'clock, and though the pre-arranged hour was generally unknown, there were a few friends present. The bride wore a handsome tucked white silk dress and a veil with orange blossoms,. She was " given away " by her brother owing to Mr. Bayly's heilth not permitting him to be present. Two sisters of the bride acted as bridesmaids, thoir dresses 1 being similar to that of the bride and all tbe ladies carried handsome bouquets. Mr. Fred. Cornwall acted as best man. On leaving the church the newly-wedded couple were treated to a shower of rice and rose haves. The piity then proceeded to the residence of the brides parent's at Hanwood-road.
