OARRINGTON KOAD 0.0. v. NEW PLYMOUTH ROVERS. This match was played on the 21st November and was to have continued on the 28th, but owing to th* wet weather play bad to be abandoned. The Covers therefore won on the first innings by three wickets and 16 runs, after a good contest. For the Rovers Robertson pl iyed a very fine innings of 49 not out, playing the bowling with confidence and good judgment, A. Bawley also played a good innings of 27, and should make some good scores before the end of the season. For the Oarrington-roid Perham 23, and W. McEwen 16, were the only oce» to reach double figures. Perham had 'hard lines' in being stumped when] apparently well set Haswll and!
