SHOOTING AFFAIR AT DUNEDIN.
FKR PBIBS ASMCUTIOff DcNEDnf, October 13. A sheeting affair occurred last nigh< between Cumberland and Castle strwts. Two women named Mary Pearee and Reunick quarrelled over something Pearee went to the boose with a revolver, and shot Reunick in the lowar part of the face. ' Reunick wa* re moved to tbe hospital. It u balieved tbe wound is not likely to prove fatal. Tbe woman Pearee has been arrested. Both parties are s*id to be respectable people, and Pearee is no 1 ; loog from tbe Auckland district.
