CONCILIATION BOARD.
AWARD IN THE TYPOGRAPHICAL DISPUTE. PKB PRESS ASSOCIATION. Wellington, September 14. The Conciliation Board gave its recommendations this morning in the typographical dispute heard last week. Forty-six hours are to be a week's work, with discretion to evening papers as to how the hours are to be worked. The minimum wages for Wellington, WaDganui and Napier, are to be £3 Is for day work, and £3 8s 6d for night work. For all other places in the district £2 lOi p?r week, piece workers to get Is o|d per thousand ens, and also be piid overtime rates like night work.
