NELSON'S DEATH RATE.

FEB PRESS ASSOCIATION. Nelson, September 14. In consequence of statements as to the death rate, the Oity Council has had a return prepared for the last f° ur months, the effect of which is to show that the rate is swelled by the large number of inv>lids who come here. Out of 49 deaths only 27 belonged to the city. The statement is considered sitisfaotory, and a return will be prepared annually in future.
