TYPOGRAPHERS' DISPUTE.
I PIDH PRESS ASSOCIATION. J Wellington, September 3. I The case filed by the Wellington Typographical Society, respecting the conditions of hand composition, oime before the Conciliation Board to day. It was explained that the chief object was to bring the country offices into line with the city, and that the only demands seriously contested by city employers were those as to tbe wages and hours. Other conditions already ruled in city offices, but both sides were j anxious to g*t on to the Arbitration Court, and have the (juration settled. | The hearing was adjourned to enable j both parties to confer in the hope of reducing the number of disputed items.
