Martin, the othei occupant, reached the shore. The deceased leaves a widow and four ohi a dren. Christchuroh, September 3. At the inquest on the body of George Venables Hutchinson, found in th Heathcota River, the jury returned > verdict of found drowned, but there was no evidence to show how he got in to the water. He was subject to epileptic fits, and it-is supposed he hud one on t.he rotd near the river, and on recovering, while in a semi-consciout state, walked into the water.
