Joyce asked for permission to give about one acre of ssctions 3 and 38, block 14, Fouatu, for a public hall site. Resolved, that the Board will have no objection to one acre being takes out of s«ction 38, but it cannot allow the fiontage of section 3 to be taken away. Section 3, block 4, Mimi, is to be opened to application under part 111. of the Land Act, subject to revaluation and weighted with the valuation for improvements. The roadway in part section 4, Fitssroy District, applied to be purchased by S. W. Shaw, is to be offered to him under the 117 th section of "The Land Act, 1892," at tbe price mentioned in the Ranger's report. Consideration of the Ranger's report on portion of Holswortby Road closed, applied for by the Taranaki Jocky Club was defersd till next meeting, in the meantime Mr. Newton King to be asked if he wishes to purchase a halfwidth of the roadline. The following proposals for expenditure of accrued thirds was agreed to : Olifton (Jouoty Oeuncil £577 5a 4d, Waima'e Road Board £SO 12s, £gmont Road Board £2 2s 6d, Pat<-a East Road Board £l2 13s lOd.
