The annual meeting of the New Plymouth Investment aud Loin Society was held in the office of the Recietary (Mr. 3, Renoell) last evening, Mr H. Wes'on in tho chair.

Tbe shareholders expreised appreciation of their set vice?, and voted them £75, to be divided as ihey de:m fit. A hearty vote of thauka to the S tret'ry was alt=o passed. At a meeting of the Directors, held at the close of the meeting, Mr. H. Weston was re-ebe'ed Chairman.
