At the inquest on Msry Josephine Trowors, evidence went to show that tha deceased must have s'ippod her hands out of the straps by whioh she was fastened down, undid the Ruckles to the straps on her ankles, slid from under the sheet which restrained her, and then threw herself out of the hospital window. The nurse was only absent about two minutes. The jury, without retiring, returned a verdict that deocased died from fracture of the skull oaused by falling from a window while temporarily insance, no blame being attachable to anybody. At the inquest on Al°x, Smith, one of the fireman on the Ao'ea, the medical evidence was to the effect that there were no marks of violenoe. A wound on the left temple and two small punctures on the right side of the head were considered t > he caused after death. The jury returned a verdict of found drowned.
