I PBtt I'BESS ASSOCIATION. j Auckland, January 9. | An interesting ceremony took place at the Fire Underwriter's Association, on the occasion of the retirement from Offico of the Chairman of the Association (Mr. A. S. Russell), after four years continuous work, Mr. Russell's record is quite unique, he having been Chairman on ropautad occasions. He was presented with a beautiful and chaste tea and coft'ee servico and silver serviette rings, accompanied by a gold sovereign purse.
