THE SHARP-RAFALEWSKI CONCERT COMPANY.
Lovehs of good music, both vocal and instrumental, will have an opportunity of hearing first-class performers in each. We refer, of eouree, to the visit of Miss Lili Sharp and M. Rafalewski, who come with the very highest creden'iak from the principal Australian papers, particularly the Melbourne Argus and Age, both of which are most lavish in :.heir praiso. Miss Lili Sharp is credited with possessing a phenomenal voice of grert range and flexibility, yet, withal; rich, pure, and mellow in both upper ind lower registers. Her vocal efforts nave been compared very favourably with those of Madame Trebelli and i other professional artistes of very high | standing. _ M. Rifalewski, as a pianist ['and violinist, stands alone as the best I soloist on either instrument in Australia, and the opportunity of hearing tsnch a master of both instruments should be eagerly taken by music lovers in our midst. It is seldom enough that artists of such high standing visit our town, and it is to be hoped that a large and appreciative audience will ba present when they make their iaitial bow to the New Plymouth public.
