EXTENSION OF BKIKTS GKOUND APPROVED. At a meeting of the Recreation Grounds Board on Friday, in conjunction with representatives of tho extrusion scheme, Mr. T. K. Skinner submitted a rough plan of the proposed alterations, estimated to cost" .£2OOO. After some discussion, the plan, which involves the. removal of tho mouud at the Liardet-street entrance and filling in part of the adjoining lake, was approved, subjecb to such modifications as may be found necessary.
