HOTEL DESTROYED BY FIRE.
NARROW ESCAPE OF INMATES. A MAN JUMPS FROM A WINDOW. (PEE PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Auckland, May 3. Loram's Commercial Hotel at Opitonui was totally destroyed by fire this morning. The inmates had a narrow escape. Findhy, a telegraph lineman, wag badly hurt when making his escape. He had to jump from the top storey, The building was insured for £I4OO, and the contents for £750 in the Norwich Union Office.
