Mrs Putnam Again Aloft
Press Association—Conyriebt Sydney, July 2. A report received at Sydney states that Mrs Amelia Earhart Putnam took off from Lae, New Guinea, at 10 a.m. for Howland Island in perfect weather. The journey is expected to occuply 18 hours. The next hop will be to Honolulu, thence to Oakland, U.S.A. The trip will be continued down the coast to Mazatlan, Mexico City, and Vera Cruz to the point whence the flight started on June 1. Miami.
