.MEMORIAL BLOWN UP. Marks Grave Of Executed Republican Press Association —Copyright. London, July 2. The 12-foot! Republican Memorial Cross, erected in 1812 in memory of “those who filled to the freedom of Ireland,” was blown up v. ith gelignite at Milltown Cemetery, Belfast. Beneath it was buried a Republican who was executed by Free State supporters.
