Divine Follower Guilty Of Abduction Los Angeles, July 2. ■ John Hunt, a wealthy white follow■er of the negro religious leader j Father Divine, who was arrested for transporting away Delight Jewitt, a 17-year-old Denver -school girl, “‘to make her a new Virgin Mary,” has been found, guilty of violation of the Mann Act, which provides penalties for a person who takes a woman across the boundary between one State and another. He is liable to a sentence of five years in a Federal penitentiary.
