Concluding Sessions Press Association--Copyright. Hamilton, June 25. The ' conference of the National Diiry Federation, which concluded at Hamilton to-day, was describes by the chairman, Mr A. Morton (Egmont Village) as extremely successful. To-day’s programme was taken up by addresses by a.. A H. Cockayne, Director-General of Agriculture, and Mr W. A. Phillips, chairman of directors of the New Zealland Co-op. Proprietary of Marketing. It was decided to urge the Government to introduce an improved tyetem of grading and to urge the Imposition of a levy to cover the costa of paying a premium for finest quality baconers. The general tone of the conferenca in regard to the guaranteed price was conciliatory and a remit moved by a delegate that th® conference protests on principle against the assumption by the Government of tha marketing of dairy produce wat lost by a large majority.
