Excuse Not Accepted Association— Copyright. Dunedin, June 25. James Edward Brunton pleaded guilty in the Police Court to-day to being intoxicated In charge of a motor car on June 20. Hit counsel, claiming that Brunton had been laffected by a fall from a horse on the previous afternoon, submitted that the breach was technical, but the Magistrate, Mr H W. Bundle, said he could not look upon the matter lightly. The Magistrate impored a fine of £23 19s anij medical expenses (£1 It). Brunton’s license was suspended and he was prohibited from uriving for 12 months.
