.REMOVAL COMMENCED. New Site At Swansea Road The remove! of the Stratford Borough Council's depot adjacent to the M lone memorial gates at King Edward Park to a new site at Swansea Road, formerly used as a public pound and rubbish dump, was commenced last week. At present workmen are engaged demolishing the large wooden building, in which motor lorries, tools, and various machinery, were hous d, and a new structure will be erected on the site chosen. The crushing plant, tar boiler and other fixtures' will 'then be removed tend it is expected that the ground will later be laid out >n lawns and shrubs and incorporated in the park. For about 19 years the land, which is i,l rt of the domain, has been used as a depot and from time to time complaint has been laid of the unsightly appearance of the building at the park entnance.
