TEST FLIGHT POSTPONED
WELLINGTON-AUCKLAND Will Make Trip To-day Owing (to the condition of M.angere aerodrome, due to the heavy rain and also to the weather reports, the test flight of the Union Airways Lockheed Electra monoplane has been postponed from yesterday afternoon until to-day. The arrangements for the further flights in view of the changed conditions have not yet been completed, but ft. is anticipated that the Lockheed, Kotare, which was to have made ‘the flight yesterday from Wellington to Auckland via New Plymouth will now leave Rongotai aerodrome at noon today and arrive in Auckland at 3 p.m., making the return trip to Wellington on Saturday, and returning to Auckland again on Sunday. The second ’plane, Kuata, which was to have left Wellington t'O-da.y for Auckland, may have its flight i postponed until the following day in order ilhat the arranged schedule nioy be kept.
