A. & P. SHOW DAYS

Wednesday And Thursday Suggested Whether the annual spring show of the Stratford Agricultural end Pastoral Association • should be held on Wednesday and Thursday or on Friday and Saturday was discussed ait a meeting of the general committee this afternoon, but no decision was reached. The president, Mr A. H.*R. Amess, said what was wanted wag. the most suitable days for all concerned. The main argument in favour of Wednesday and Thursday was the short time that would elapse between the Hawera and Straitford shows, and it might be an inducement to visiting breeders to exhibit at Stratford. Another factor was that with the show in mid-week stock could be got away on Thursday night immediately after the show. As against those arguments it was pointed out that the tradespeople would have to be considered and an endeavour is to be made .to ascertain their views.
