GUN RUNNING ORGANISATION

DISCOVERY IN FRANCE ENORMOUS STOCK OF ARMS Alleged For French Fascists Press Association—Copyright. Received June 16, 1.20 p.m. Paris, June 15. Arising out of a gangster fight on Sunday night, in which Maurice Joutanneau was severely wounded, police found in his apartments documents allegedly linking up throughout Europe an arms running organisation, which has at its disposal 22 tanks, 20 pursuit planes, 400,000 rifles and 30,000 machine guns. It was suspected that these were destined for Spain, but the newspaper, “Humanite” suggests that perhaps they were for the armoury of French Fascists.
