BIG AERODROME OPENED
Singapore Engineering Feat Press Association—Copyright. Singapore, June 13. Singapore’s £1,000,000 airport was opened by the Governor of the Straits Settlements, Sir Harold Mac Michael, who described the airfield as a magnificent feat of engineering. A huge rflalarious swamp has been reclaimed for the aerodrome. Seventy planes participated in a display.
