Cockerel.—F. Weston 1 and special in Taranaki leghorn section. KENNEL CLUB’S WINNERS. NEW PLYMOUTH WINTER SHOW. Special prizes at the Kennel Club exhibition in the New Plymouth winter show were awarded as follows: Beet in show (trophy £2 2s). —Mr A. H. Buckley’s Leamington Lau> (cocker spaniel) 1; runner-up, Mr P. Naylor’s Jewell of Geraldton (smodth fox terrier). Best puppy in show (N.P.K.C. trophy £5 ss). —Mr J. Christie’s Westport New Zealand Girl (cocker) 1; runner-up, Mr W. Holmes's’ Bonny Mahutu (collie). Best terrier (other than fox 'terrier). —Master A. Slade’s Airedale bitch—Kilburn Charming. Best gun dog (Goulburn Cup £5 ss). —Mr Buckley’s Leamington Lady. Best novice .setter, retriever or pointer (Sutton Cup).—Mrs Holmes's Mach Mahutu. Best sporting dog (Jeyes Trophy). —Mr Buckley’s Leamington Lady. In the wire fox terriers section, Mrs W. Sinclair (Stratford), secured third prize for her maiden bitch; second prize in the novice class, and third with Princess Marina for New Zealand bred, as well as third in fie brood class. Mr A. Grigg’s (Stratford) Waikato Don was first for Alsatian dogs junior, second in the maiden, second in the novice and first in New Zealand bred classes.
