LABOUR CAUCUS
MEETING NEXT WEEK B Radio Station Question A caucus of Government members has been arranged for Thursday, June 17, According to advice received by Labour members of Parliament in Auckland. As the Prime Minister, Mr Savage, and other members of the Cabinet are in England, it was not anticipated that any caucus would be held prior to their return?
While Parliamentary representatives are somewhat surprised they generally welcome the summons to discuss the recent trend of affairs, particularly in regard to the agitation on the B class radio station question. In Government supporters’ circles there is a feeling that the issues have been magnified considerably, and that an immediate survey of the position is desirable to allay the concern which is expressed in the increasing .correspondence being received by members of Parliament.
