PHILATELIC DISPLAY
A. & P. Show Exhibition Ths exhibits generally were of a good class and the number of entries were quite satisfactory, states the judge of the exhibition conducted by the *Taranaki Philatelic Society at the Stratford A. and P. Autumn Show. It was the first display and exhibition promoted and run by a young society, and indications were that a strong section would be established in the future if more' attention was given to the different headings under which the points were awarded. Awards were: Senior: J. Gibbie (Hawera), 1,3, and 4; F. B. Butler ((New Plymouth) 2; A- Rumball (Stratford) 5. Junior: R. A. Holloway (Hawera) 1, B. Veitclt (Hawera) 2, O. Moore (New Plymouth) 3. The Society’s points prize was won by the Hawera section, New Ply_ mouth and Stratford sections being second and third respectively.
