NARROW ESCAPE
Heavy Truck Overturns Press Association —Copyright Carterton. Jutte 7. lan Thomtes, driver, with Herbert Leslie Meads as a passenger, had a miraculous escape this morning when a transport lorry, heavily loaded, proceeding from Pahiatuia to Wellington, overturned near T’aratahi Hotel and Skidded upside down for 35 feet. The CtftF Was badly smashed, but the occupants scrambled out without Injury.
