WOMEN’S DIVISION

Stratford Branch Meets The monthly meeting of the Stratford branch of the W.D.F.U. was held in St. Andrew's Hall on Tuesday afternoon, Mrs Lampiough presiding over a good attendance of members. Two members of 'the new branch at Kahouri Bridge were also present. The ball to be held on the 15th June was* discussed, and members were asked to do all they could to make ft a success. A vote of thanks was passed ;to Miss Wells for dressing the doll entered in the Hawera show. The competition for the month was won by Miss Blair and Mrs Taylor. The competition for next month ie for the four best scones.

Afternoon tea was served' by Mrs and Miss Blair.
