Social and Personal Mrs Grey, Olivia Street, was a bridge hottess on Wednesday. * * * Miss R. Furrie has returned from an -enjoyable visit to friends at Auckland. * * * Miss M- Sullivan, Regan Street, left last night for Auckland to spend a few weeks’ holiday with Mrs Pierce, formerly of Stratford. * * * Mr and Mrs Greenthielde, who have been, visiting Mrs L. C. Jolly, of Page Street, left for their home in Otorohanga this morning. * * * Miss Lucy Penn and Mrs Ch. Penn left for Auckland last night, Miss L. Penn being en rout e to Samoa to visit * * * Mrt L. C. Jolly held her monthly bridge evening for the Health Camp fund alt her residence, Page Street. Those present were: Mt and Mrs Thomson, Mr and Mrs Greenshields, Mrs and Miss Galbraith, Met dames J. C. Allen, A. W. Budge, Hunt, Pitt, Steven, Uniacke, HugOi, E. H. Young, B. Rawles, H. Bishop, H. Heslopp, C. Marchant, Shannon (Cardiff), C. Lambert, H. Tyrer, J. Petrie, Stephen. Summerfield, Brocklebank, Weston, Hick, and Miss Miller.
