A very jolly dance organised by the young men staying |at Keswick House, Fenton Street, was held in the Foresters' Hall on Wednesday night to farewell Mr K. Moss, who will leave for Auckland shortly, and also Mr R. Robertson, who is joining the Air Folce. The hall looked gaiy flfith pink and white streamers. The Adelphi orchestra was in attendance. Among those present were: Mr and Mrs E. W. McCullough, Mr and Mrs V. Fookes, Mr and Mrs Morton, Mr and Mrs Dunmore, Mrs Whittington; th e Misses M. Malone, 8., Z. and O. Masters, M. Washer (Hawera), N. Duckworth (Hawera), M. McKenzie, A. Graham (Waverley), P. Lovell (Hawera), R. Furrie, M. Whittle, P. Simmons (Paltea), M. Power, J. and B. Hale, H. Boyle, E. Pierce; Messrs Robert Robertson, K. Moss, J. McCarthy (Hawera), H. Graham, R. Watkins, J. Paul, V. Stratton, H. Goodman, M. Thompson, N. Hawkin, R.. Gordon (Hawera).
