SOCCER FOOTBALL
Julian Cup Competition Play was commenced on Saturday n Julian Cup senior competition conducted by the Taranaki Football Association. Results were:— Wallara 3 beat Watersiders 1. Albion 1 beat Hawera nil. Auroa beat Pirates by default. Before the games began players stood in silence in respect for the memory of the late Mr J. R. Sceaits.
