Films For Schools The value .of visual education through the medium of suitable'films was referred to by Mr J McAllis er, chairman of the Stratford Technical High School Board, at last night’s meeting, and it was decided 'that the Principal, Mr A. H, R. Amess, make Inquiries from the Auckland Education Board in regard to films available. Mr McAllis er said that in Auckland there was an association of schools, circulating films, and he understood that from the (teachers’ point of view the method of instruction was very successful. A type of projector that was very suitable could be procured', and more films were being made. Films could be shown during .a lesson and could be stopped ait any stage. Mr W. J. Polson, M.P., considered it was a splendid way of teaching children, and; one that would make I a gt eat impression on the young I mind. I - .
