Christchurch Motorist Convicted Press Association —Copyright. Timaru, May 20. The first prosecution of the kind in New Zealand, that of driving without reasonable consideration for oth. er users of the road, was preferred against Agnes Fitzpatrick, of Christchurch, to-day. She was at the head of a line of cars returning from a race meeting and travelling at 12 miles an hour. She was convicted and ordered to pay 10s costs.
