HOSPITAL MANAGEMENT
Reports To Board The monthly meeting of the Stratford Hospital Bo_rd was held to-day. Present were: Messrs T. R. Anderson (chairman), M. Gernhoefer, G. P. Harknesc, J. D. Law, H. J. Marchant, N. H. Moss, Mrs D. Shannon and Mrs M. T. Phillips. The report of the Medical Superintendent (Dr. W. Brown) for the month of April stated that he hau: banded over his duties to Dr. C. R. Lambert, on May 1. The number of patients admitted was 55, discharged 54, died 0, remaining in hotpi al 35, out-patients attended 127, admissions to maternity Ward 7, births 7, visits ante-natal clinic 46, admissions to isolation ward 2, remaining in isolation ward 2. Tie District Nurse, Wbangamomone.. Sister E A. Robertson, reported ■ that during the month 30 patients [ had been at ended and 78 visits made. | The visiting committee, Mrs A. ■ Phillips and Mr M. Gernhoefer, drew j the attention of the Board to the I condition of the ga es at the back of ! the hospital and reminded the Board :hat the material for the cattle stop was s ill lying unused. The wringer In the laundry was still in disrepair.
